Sunday School: Not By Chance: A Study of God's Providence. One of our deacons, Frank D'Agostino, recently began a series on the providence of God. Each class is 45 minutes long and is full of Scripture and practical application.
Sunday Morning: Genesis: Beginnings. The most foundational book of the Bible is the first one, the book of Genesis. In this book we see the beginning of the world, of humanity, and of sin, but most importantly, the beginning of God's plan of redemption. The series began in August 2012 and will likely continue until the fall of 2013.
Sunday Evening: 1 Corinthians: A Unified and Holy Church. We are currently working through Paul's first letter to the people of Corinth, a wealthy, important, and morally corrupt city in the ancient world. By working through the letter paragraph by paragraph, we see that the message of the text that the Lord gave the Corinthians is just as needed for us today. The series began in May 2013 and will continue through the fall.
Wednesday Evening: Psalms: The Believer's Prayer Book. In a modified Bible study format, we are searching out together what the Psalms teach about prayer. The results are often both convicting and encouraging, and are made immediately practical as we move from our Bible study to sharing our personal burdens and praying together.
